Get to know Cosimo Salvati. Having studied in the European Institute of Design as an Art Director has positioned him in the back end of the creative process to design successful advertising campaigns. As a result, this contributes to a deep understanding of the visual and more specifically of the photographic language that this requires. Later, his background extends beyond the academy and into Publicis Groupe, one of the world’s largest creative partners for big brands where he contributed as an Art Director.

Beyond his background as an Art Director, Cosimo began working at a very early age as a photography producer with Crocodile Factory, a company specialized in international high end fashion photography including location sourcing in Mexico and different countries around the world. During this time he collaborated on projects with world class fashion photographers such as David Bellemere, Mikael Jansson, Tom Craig, among many others for clients such as Vogue US, Mr. Porter Post, Neiman Marcus, and others in many countries in Europe and Latin America.

After that, he worked as a producer in close collaboration with Shaktiprod, which is one of the most well established production companies for still photography in Mexico. In this time he was in charge of designing a system for streaming photoshoots online during the COVID19 pandemic. During this time he worked on international campaigns for Garnier Nutrisse with international fashion photographer Laurent Darmon. And others like Tecate, with award winning Argentinian photographer Martin Köhler. As well as various other projects for Telcel, Barcel, Grupo Bimbo, and other national and international brands.

Current Work as a Photographer in Mexico City

Currently, his client base includes retail, architectural design studios, olympian athletics, eCommerce among others. He has a project by the name of @somos.dico that is specializes specifically on studio product photography. Which firstly serves as a platform to interact with brands, and does so in the form of a creative partnership. His creative partner in this project Diego Sánchez Aulló, a Spanish born photographer who is currently working based in Mexico City.
